Our podcast block party is wrapping up (coming to a burrito, if you will!) with a bit of déjà vu. Remember host Angela Briones from Day 4? She's back to close out the party with her second show Thank You For Joining Me.
On this show, Angela offers a blend of real talk, practical advice, and encouragement that’s perfect for anyone navigating the early stages of podcasting. She’s a seasoned creative with a brilliant take on the behind-the-scenes of audio storytelling. AND her voice alone is enough to get you to hit the follow button.
Plus there's a bonus! All good parties have swag bags to enjoy later and this is no different. Angela is also a childfree Latina and will be featured in the next full episode of La Vida Más Chévere. That's a particularly juicy episode where we talk about the word “selfish.” But first, enjoy Thank You for Joining Me, a show made for those who want to create with purpose and podcast with confidence.
"Thank You for Joining Me is for the newbie and indie podcaster. It's about what happens before (and after) the episode and most importantly, what happens in between.
From the excitement of episode one to avoiding the podcrash after episode ten, we'll not only cover the nut-and-bolts of creating your podcast, but also the mindset that will keep you going!
Join in for episodes ranging from my personal podcast thoughts to sharing the space with podcast friends who will share their podcasting process, as well as insights of how to balance it outside of real life.
We'll also talk about the hurdles of sharing our voice, and how to keep the creative spark going. This is a space where we can talk about what's working - and what's not working - in our podcasty life, share insights, and stay inspired so we can all keep hitting PUBLISH!"

Buen día, mis amigues, welcome to day 15, the final day of the LVMC Podcast Block Party. I'm Paulette Erato, the host of La Vida Más Chévere de Childfree Latinas. The birthday podcast block party is now coming to an end. But that's perfect because it's Memorial Weekend here in the States, and that means an extended weekend. So really, is the party ending or is it just getting started? I am super excited about today's show. Do you remember way back on day four how I told you that host Angela had two podcasts? Well, she does because she's somehow able to be brilliant at her day job and at podcasting. She really has one of the best voices in the industry. You should listen to her just because she's so calming. And that's why I wanted her second show, Thank You for Joining Me, to serve as the punctuation mark, the exclamation point to this party. Before you go listen to this last trailer, here's a little secret. Angela is also a childfree Latina and will be the featured guest on the next full episode of La Vida Más Chévere. I'm super excited because we talk about how the word selfish is weaponized against childfree people, and I think you'll really enjoy that episode. It's coming in June. For now, please enjoy Thank You for Joining Me, a show for newbie and indie podcasters, with Angela Briones. Hi everyone. My name is Angela Briones, and I wanna invite you to join me for a podcast about podcasting. I've been doing this for about four years now, and in the beginning I had questions about things like microphones and recording software. But as I got past the basics, I realized that showing up behind the mic was about more than just a great microphone. My mic, my podcast host and editing software, those were the things that made my podcast possible but they weren't the things that have kept me going when the podcast struggle gets real. One of the things that has helped me the most has been when I've been able to connect with my fellow podcasters and share ideas. And honestly, I wanted more of that. Thank You for Joining Me is a space where we'll not only talk about the nuts and bolts of podcasting, but it's also a space where we can connect with each other about the process of it. We'll talk about things like how to avoid podcast crashing, dealing with imposter syndrome and doubt, and how folks juggle podcast life outside of their full-time work life. These are so many of my own questions, and maybe they're yours too. Episodes will range from solo episodes where I'll share my thoughts on podcasting to sharing the space with podcast friends, old and new. Episodes begin January 2025 anywhere you listen to podcasts, so please subscribe so we can stay connected. Until then, Thank You for Joining Me. Hey mira. If you love this trailer as much as I did, then seriously go subscribe to the show right now. All the links to do that are in the show notes. Y no se te olvide, this is all part of my birthday celebration, so keep tuning in every weekday to discover new podcasts you might enjoy. And of course, if you've got thoughts, dígame! DM me on Instagram or send me a text from your phone right now. There's always a link in the show notes for that too. Muchísimas gracias for celebrating my birthday with me. Y hasta la próxima vez, that's a burrito!
