La Vida Más Chévere de Childfree Latinas
Childfree Latinas: you’re not alone. You're a movement! This podcast is here to make that loud and clear.
Hosted by speaker and community builder Paulette Erato, this Spanglish show digs into what it really means to choose a life sin hijos in a culture that treats motherhood like an obligation. But we don’t stop there! LVMC pushes past the surface-level “childfree” conversation and into the messy, cultural beliefs we were all raised with: the silence, the guilt, the constant self-sacrifice, the pressure to make ourselves small, agreeable, and convenient.
Every other Tuesday, Paulette (and sometimes guests) invites childfree Latinas y Latines to say F THAT! Let’s unpack the toxic traditions and generational scripts that keep us calladitas. Because once you see how these patterns show up in our careers, relationships, families, finances, creativity, and identity, you can’t UNSEE it. So let’s do what it takes to unlearn them without burning down our entire lives.
This is not a judgment zone, but it’s also not a polite one. It’s a space where we name things out loud: machismo, marianismo, internalized misogyny, cultural expectations, and all the emotional labor we were told was just part of being “a good girl.”
By mixing real talk, sharp analysis, and bilingual humor, the show helps you let go of the old burdens we were raised to carry: the duty to please everyone, the fear of disappointing la familia, and the constant need to defend your choices. If you’re ready to trust yourself more, reclaim your time, live on your own terms, and design a life that actually feels like yours, you’re in the right place.
And that’s a burrito!

If you don't know host and lens-based artist Stephanie Graham, here's how she describes her podcast:
"noseyAF is a podcast where I talk to passionate, creative people who are doing cool, meaningful things in the world. Think artists, organizers, small business owners, weirdos, and folks who care deeply about their communities. We talk about what drives them, how they make it work, and all the real-life stuff in between. It’s curious, funny, honest, and sometimes a little tender—but always a good listen."

Hey mis amigues, welcome to day three of the LVMC Podcast Block Party. Hi, I'm Paulette Erato, your host of La Vida Más Chévere de Childfree Latinas, and the birthday girl. To celebrate today's podcast trailer is from my girl, the phenomenal lens-based artist, Stephanie Graham. Not only is she great on the mic, she produces incredible art as well, so you know you're in for a good time. Enjoy Nosey AF conversations about art activism and social change, where being nosy is an art form. Hi, I'm Stephanie Graham and I'm the host of Nosey AF Conversations about art activism and social change. Each episode I sit down with artists, filmmakers, activists, and our community neighbors who are doing really wonderful and really rad things, talking about their work, their world, and what drives them to keep creating. As someone who makes work too, I'm a filmmaker and photographer, I really know how important it is to have space for these conversations, to talk about the wins, the struggles, and the behind the scenes moments that really don't always get talked about. My own art explores subculture, social class, race and gender, often with humor and always a little bit of glam. And I really try hard to bring that same energy to these conversations. So check it out. If you are an artist, a filmmaker, a curator, a community do-gooder, or you're a consumer of culture, who likes to be at the galleries, who likes to be at the screenings, who likes to be at the restaurant. You know who you are! Nosey AF is for you. New episodes drop biweekly on Tuesdays. You can find it right here where you're listening to your podcast right now. Or hey, you can always stop by Nosey AF, and get all the details there. So please, you are more than welcome to come get nosy with me because let me tell you something, being Nosey is not a bad thing. It's an art form. I hope to see you soon. Hey mira! If you love this trailer as much as I did, then seriously go subscribe to the show right now. All the links to do that are in the show notes. Y no se te olvide, this is all part of my birthday celebration, so keep tuning in every weekday to discover new podcasts you might enjoy. And of course, if you've got thoughts, dígame! DM me on Instagram or send me a text from your phone right now. There's always a link in the show notes for that too. Muchísimas gracias for celebrating my birthday with me. Y hasta la próxima vez, that's a burrito.
